Coaches, youth leaders, active players. Together we bring over 40 years of coaching experience in amateur and youth football - from youth teams to adults, from village clubs to development programs. We know what it's like to plan sessions after work or deal with last-minute player absences due to a headache. What it's like to be on the pitch with seven kids and a plan for twelve. That's exactly why we developed we.train.football: a solution by coaches, for coaches.

Our journey began in 2022 under the name MatchPlaner - supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs through the EXIST start-up grant. With the beta version of MatchPlaner, we reached over 1,000 users just weeks after launch, won awards, and kept developing. In 2024, the idea became a professional company - complete with office space, new team members, and a growing community.

The turn of the year 2025 marks the beginning of something big: With Thomas Röttgermann, we gain support from the professional football world, MatchPlaner becomes we.train.football, KICKER reports on us, and we gain national recognition.
